Reporting into the Head of Student Recruitment, you will design andexecutethe Student Attraction and Early Identification strategy across the UK firm’sstudent intakes.
Delivering against student recruitment scorecard KPIs and workingclosely with the Employer Brand team, you’ll prioritise attracting a diversetalent pool based on a data-
led approach. You will lead the team of 12,including both L2 advisors and L3 managers, to source candidates from a broadrange of channels for all student vacancies across UK&I and FSO : 800 graduates, 300undergraduates, 300 apprentices and up to 500 students across our EarlyIdentification programmes.
You will also manage an attraction budget of circa£550k.
A key aspect of your role will be to make sure EY hasa commercial and efficient attraction activity framework so you will need todrive innovation and smart-
thinking, as well as deliver strategic projectsthroughout the year to drive continuous improvements. You will focus on D&Iat a strategic level and will establish strong partnerships externally to helpwiden access to EY.
You will lead a regionally dispersed team, championingalignment across all UK offices and ensuring the correct levels of engagementwith key stakeholders as necessary.
You will work closely with both the StudentRecruitment and Employer Brand teams to help EY stand out in the market as anauthentic and relevant leading employer for UK students.
You will also be expected to drive continuousimprovement through delivery of strategic projects across the year.
Leadregional team and take accountability for delivery of Student Attraction tomeet student recruitment objectives for UK&I and FSO.
Direct the Service Linestudent support team members (c200 people), including the partners, to effectchange across our regions at universities, schools and key partnerships.
Accountable for campus andschools activity framework, encompassing regional operating model, universityand schools tiering, STEM, Gender and BAME strategy streams to help build ourSocial Mobility profile, events, partnerships, conversion and stakeholderengagement approach.
Accountable for the qualityof execution of up to 400 events across schools and universities, key regionaland national partnerships.
Strategic responsibility forEarly Identification programmes including Leading Women, Business Academy,Summer Internship, Industrial Placement and Discover EY.
Honing and innovating withinthe Early Identification portfolio to drive key scorecard outcomes over thelong-term. Responsible for best-
in class programme design to ensure outstandingcandidate experience and maximum levels of conversion into Graduate andApprentice roles.
Driving conversion throughthe smart use of our CRM tool across all key candidate touch points, workingclosely with the Employer Brand team to ensure the right candidate touch pointsand comms.
Driving authentic, candidateexperience, working closely with the Employer Brand team to ensureunderstanding of recruitment marketing initiatives and responsible for ensuringthe Attraction team execute efficiently and maximise our authentic brandthrough all student touchpoints, supporting our brand and target to meet recruitmentplan.
Responsiblefor ensuring a mature understanding of audience, linking in with the EmployerBrand team for student insights and market research.
Understandingof all key data points and works closely with Student Recruitment Ops lead tounderstand pipeline activity and candidate performance for all populations andtalent pools.
Getsunder the skin of regional landscape and clearly understands region growthplans, targets for all student roles, stakeholder agenda and demands, activityROI and how it delivers against objectives and what we need to evolve andchange in order to deliver top quality applications into all pipelines.
Proactivewith regional model and hot spots - ensures tight delivery to limit attractionchallenges in hard to fill areas.
Overseeingthe approach and day to day effectiveness of attraction activity.
Escalationpoint for challenges raised internally by business, all Student Recruitmentcampus / schools partner sponsors, Attraction Team, as well as escalation pointfor all external stakeholders including schools contacts, Enactus, facultyleaders and career service contacts at universities and key partnershipcontacts.
Leadand implement the attraction budget aligned to and directly supporting our coreobjectives, drive ROI from activities.
Understandsnecessary team structure to execute efficient delivery of the Attractionstrategy and all key streams within the framework.
Partnering with the business :
Builds strong and crediblerelationships and works with a range of senior business stakeholders internallyand key influencers externally.
Works closely with theStudent Operations SM, Regional SM and Head of Student Recruitment and EmployerBrand team to ensure Attraction supports KPIs and hires.
Attends Student operations teammeetings to support recruitment managers to identify resource needs and issues anddeliver appropriate recruitment plans.
Attend campus / school advisor meetingson a regular basis to oversee team activity and ensure strategy is efficientlyexecuted.
Accountability for ensuringthat effective activity is filling pipelines aligned to service linerequirements across all regional offices.
Demonstrates an understandingof the key business drivers and understands the role of student attraction toaddress these.
MI and reporting :
supports managers to adjust activity tomeet targets.
Understands data points forall student programmes across regional offices and understands performancewithin the new student recruitment process, including all application data andbehaviours within the student recruitment process.
Adapts activity accordinglyto help shape and support candidates throughout attraction.
Proactively targets teamusing a feedback loop from pipeline performance to ensure the appropriatevolume of applications feeds every unique pipeline.
Ensures that the hiring mixfor each service line is appropriately monitored and course corrected tomaximise priority groups with particular emphasis on the proportion of femaleapplicants.
Works strategically to modelthe long-term impact of Early Identification on permanent hires, adjustingtargets and programme design accordingly.
Identifies when data is notaccurate or questions its integrity.
Coaches others to conductrelevant analysis regarding recruitment delivery.
Reporting campaignperformance to Employer Brand team throughout the season so content can beadjusted accordingly.
Team management and contribution :
Leads Attraction Managers,Early Identification Manager and all Advisors, directing all team members toreach recruitment goals, responsible for direct reports and accountable for aheadcount within the attraction team.

Comprehensive student attraction experience gained within professionalservices or other commercial entities.
