You will work closely with your business area to contribute to the technical solutions for negotiation.
You will lead and motivate your team to achieve targets, and encourage them to coach others in the team.
You will have strong relationship management and negotiation skills to influence, guide and build effective relationships with new and existing brokers / customers.
You will also provide support to the Trading Centre Leadership Team
Lead, motivate, develop and focus the team to ensure delivery of the required financial performance now and in the future by developing potential through agreeing financial objectives and implementing improvements plans where necessary.
Developing and managing new and current business relationships to provide a quality underwriting service to a variety of key brokers in order to maximise the value of every account.
Ensuring appropriate license coverage within the team to manage and resolve complaints in an appropriate fashion to maintain quality and continuity of relationships.
Providing advice and solutions to colleagues to address technical referrals for non- conventional and complex risks while maintaining good internal relationships to support the end-to-end delivery of the customer proposition.
Reviewing performance against targets, exploring opportunities and challenging work practices in order to ensure delivery on Service Management.
Supporting and encouraging the identification and implementation of appropriate new and / or better ways of doing things so as to improve service and / or efficiency.
Contribution to delivery of business plans, growth, profitability and operating targets.
Driving competitive advantage through strong, differentiated customer value propositions.
Particular focus on coaching and development of Trading Underwriters to ensure they receive the support and guidance that will enhance their ability to grow and deliver improved results.

Have multiple years experience within property underwriting.
Strong experience using Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook).
Previous experience training team members and helping them develop.
Able to think outside he box when it comes to problem solving.
