We are seeking an experienced, data driven, and innovative Senior Product Manager who will lead exciting new Pricing initiatives for Book Depository to help drive a new phase of growth.

Our Headquarters are in London and our Fulfillment Centre is in Gloucester, with further offices in Madrid and Cape Town.
Book Depository has its own Technology team based in London and Madrid.
Reporting to the Category Leader and working closely with other Commercial and Tech leaders, this role will be responsible for driving the business forward though Pricing, one of the key levers in Book Depository’s flywheel.
This will include both major change Pricing initiatives and on-going Pricing optimization programs. They will support these initiatives with excellent data-
driven analysis, retail experience, communication and prioritization.
Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of delivering complex products from concept to execution, including creating clear technical requirements for pricing system changes.
They will work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams and regions, including other product managers, software development mangers and developers, using their excellent verbal and written skills to communicate on all levels of the organization.
They will design flexible and global products and mechanisms while keeping a strong focus on the customer. They will be comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity and autonomy.
o Initiate Pricing strategies, align them with key stakeholders and senior management and deliver them with exceptional results.
o Optimize Prices worldwide across 167 countries, including designing and implementing testing plans.
o Research and analyse customer needs, competitive information, and market / technology trends to inform and validate Pricing strategies and to identify other business and product opportunities.
o Design and implement Pricing analytics dashboards and related mechanisms for Pricing management.
o Working closely with marketing, finance, merchandising, technology and customer support, develop and manage the delivery of product innovations, deals and promotions.
o Working with Amazon and other Subsidiaries to gain detailed understanding of other Pricing methods, tenets and tools.
o Create detailed business requirements and product designs for new projects, including writing Working Backwards Documents, working closely with Book Depository’s Technology team.
o Scope to lead additional projects and programmes outside of Pricing, to be mutually agreed, dependent on the candidates interests an development areas and aligned with business needs.
