We're seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Developer who wants a senior role in a team that's building incredible web products.

As the right person for this new role, you'll have three to four years' experience with a PHP framework. You should show us on-

line products or services that you have taken a major role in developing. We like to work with people who are ready to challenge us and who work well with others to energise our already high-

energy team. We're looking for someone the software developers will look to for advice and guidance, and who the lead developers will look to bounce ideas off to come up with solutions together.

If you're super-keen to be learning and be at the leading edge of your game, we want to hear from you. About the Senior PHP Developer : A very hands on approach to development as part of a collaborative team, building on the highest standards to RMP Enterprise Limited's development process.

The Senior Developer works internally on our six current market leading products that are used directly by some of the world's best-

known companies, including PwC, Microsoft, Citi, Bloomberg and Jaguar Land Rover. You will work with a team of developers, comprising of three Lead Developers, two Software Developers and a two Front-

End Developers, managed and supported by the Technical Programme Manager. Requirements of the Senior PHP Developer : Essential

  • Demonstrate and provide examples of products you have developed through the whole development cycle including requirements gathering, system analysis and design and various forms of testing
  • Confident discussing technical details and be able to make suggestions to improve existing projects and processes, as well as give suggestions and advice to others
  • Interest in keeping up to date with latest technical advancements
  • Strong development skills using PHP 7
  • TDD and Unit testing knowledge
  • Experience with MVC / OOP, MySQL, HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of SOLID principles
  • Experience using a PHP framework like Laravel, Symfony, Zend or CakePHP Desirable
  • Linux server knowledge
  • Experience using Redis or ElasticSearch
  • Vue.js or similar JS framework We primarily code in PHP 7.1+, JavaScript ES6, MySQL 5.7.x, and use a number of cloud-based services.
  • An understanding of OOP is essential. Experience with MVC frameworks (we build on Laravel 5.x) and tools like Composer are essential.

    If you have any experience with running your own server, then you should let us know. Over the last two years we also introduced new approaches and technologies such as IronMQ and TDD as well as refining our agile approach.
