Your responsibilities

This post is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Olympus surgical product range on their territory with a focus on the Stone Disposable and Resection portfolio.

The role involves demonstrating medical / surgical equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing training and after sales support.

  • Managing all aspects of a sales territory
  • Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings
  • Work in operating theatres, endoscopy and outpatients units in close association with consultants, clinicians and nursing staff
  • Deliver training and offer sales support for current customers
  • Work in conjunction with existing Territory Managers to focus on a defined group of product areas
  • Management of sales prospects on a customer database
  • Put together professional business cases
  • Sales presentations
  • Your qualification

  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Direct sales / consultative role experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and high-level of technical aptitude
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant science industry
  • Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience within medical or surgical devices
  • Self-motivation, with an innovative or entrepreneurial approach, ability to work collaboratively, a will to win attitude
  • A proven background of success within a target driven environment
