  • An opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join their team on a permanent basis

    This is the ideal role for a stock Controller looking to develop their career with an award

  • The stock controller will ensure the performance, safety and cost of the materials are optimised and available when required.

    The Stock Controller will also support the Stock Control Supervisor in establishing materials management capability to support current and future business requirements.

    Your duties will include :

  • Undertake stock control and expediting of stock items of both Ingredients and Equipment (i.e. pallets / UDP's / Trays) to ensure optimum holding to meet availability requirements in a timely manner.
  • Carry out equipment counts weekly
  • Carry out equipment audits as supplier dictates
  • Ensure all inventory data is kept up to date
  • Collaborate with the production teams to ensure accurate forecasting of future demand.
  • Book in Purchase Orders
  • Maintain systems to ensure on time deliveries to meet business demands.
  • Develop system to support stock optimisation.
  • Assist with continuous improvement agendas.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with operational standards, safety and Hygiene risks.
  • Accountable for being an authentic role model, driving positive and progressive change within the team to achieve measurable improvements.
  • Compliance with policies, processes and toolkits to facilitate good practice, maximising business benefits.
  • Use of appropriate systems to support Ingredients and Equipment to deliver process and data efficiencies.
  • Maintain close communication with other departments and deal with internal and external queries
  • The Ideal Candidate will :

  • Considerable knowledge and experience in a stock control function carrying out inventory management
  • Current Counterbalance License
