Associate Partner / Director - Accounting Compliance & Reporting, FSO Tax London Our rapidly expanding FSO Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Partner (AP) or Director with strong potential to progress to AP (depending on experience), to join the London office to support the ongoing expansion.

The Opportunity #LI-P We are looking for an AP / Director who can help shape and deliver the future strategy of our rapidly growing business capitalising on the opportunities that this present but also able to deal with the challenges too.

ACR is a national practice with a significant proportion of our fast growing clients being London based with a large delivery hub based in Newcastle as well as support nationally through various EY offices.

Join us now to help shape future strategy and help us build a better working world. What is the ACR team? The ACR team is a growing national practice with a hub sitting as part of EY’s Newcastle Managed Services Centre of Excellence.

Our focus is on the provision of reporting support to a broad portfolio of clients. That reporting support includes :

  • Management reporting
  • Bookkeeping
  • Statutory accounting (UKGAAP and IFRS)
  • Regulatory reporting
  • Payroll
  • As the team is growing at pace, the working environment is very dynamic and client and team needs can change from day to day.

    Your key responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to share and delivery future strategy of ACR.
  • Leverage expertise to strategically build profitable revenue growth across wider market.
  • High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
  • Overall responsibility of quality of client service
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills when securing new work and conducting business transactions.
  • Create value for the client by demonstrating thought leadership, bringing new insights and delivering service excellence.
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven track record in sales and business development (and a desire to focus on winning new work and building a business).
  • Excellent client-handling skills.
  • Significant team management and people development experience
  • To qualify for the role you will have

  • Recognised UK accounting qualification (ACA preferred) and significant experience in a client facing, accounting or assurance role.
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Flexible, adaptable, agile approach to working.
