A world-leading re-insurer has a fantastic opportunity for a Reinsurance Administrator to join their finance and operations department on a 12-month contract.
The role will focus predominantly on the administration of claims, including the onboarding of claims data to the system, ensuring claims adhere to agreed treaty terms and conditions, and preparing the settlement of claims to the cedents.
Responsibilities include :
Processing of reinsurance claims accounts, including; data entry, preparation of treaty claims statements for treaty technicians to process, settlements and input of financial entries into the Company's treaty accounting system.
Ensuring that all claim settlement requests processed are financially valid, are of appropriate data quality, are claimed following treaty terms, and settled within stated service standards.
Through a detailed understanding of the existing claims processes, act as the business lead on a project to redesign the process, ultimately to develop and deliver automated claims uploads to the administration system.
Support Reinsurance Accounts team members in the administration of their portfolios of clients, ensuring all claims and policy data provided by the clients adhere to the agreed treaty terms and conditions, including data quality and service standards.
Must have 2+ years relevant experience in insurance operations, preferably life and health insurance.
Must have knowledge of the insurance market and products.
