About The Role
As a Support Worker with Community Integrated Care, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of the people we support.
In this service, you will support 8 individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Mental Health concerns to live their daily lives.
From cooking, to supporting people at college, to going shopping, to supporting people on holiday; you’ll do it all and more!
This role involves supporting these individuals with undertaking varying degrees of personal care, so you need to be prepared to help in whatever way is required.
A driving license is not essential, but confidence navigating public transport is a requirement of the role.
This is a 24-hour service and the shift pattern is designed around the people we support and their schedules. Shift patterns can include early, late, long day, sleepovers and waking night shifts.
Enthusiasm is essential, previous experience isn’t, as we provide a comprehensive induction and training programme.
Our ideal Support Worker will be :
If you are successful with your application, you will be expected to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and have, or be willing to work towards, a Social Care qualification.
