Job Description

Supporting our UK business and leading the cluster, you will be responsible for providing support for the Medical Affairs and Medical Information teams, supporting all departments including Marketing and Regulatory across the business, managing compliance of promotional materials in line with necessary regulations, e.g. ABPI.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Management of Promotional Material Approval process
  • Management of the UK Medical Department projects within timelines and to budget
  • Develop, maintain and audit, key Medical Department processes as necessary to cost-effectively support the business
  • Inter-departmental liaison with relevant departments within Teva UK, as required, to improve Company processes and compliance
  • Interaction with VP Medical Affairs Europe to strive for consistency in Medical Affairs practices across Europe
  • Develop, maintain and audit, key Regulatory Department processes as necessary to cost-effectively support the business
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Qualified Physician with Medical Qualification
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine would be advantageous
  • Significant experience in the UK Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Broader knowledge and experience of working in Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs departments would be advantageous
  • Requires extensive knowledge and understanding of all relevant medicinal product and medical device regulations, (UK and EMA), including relevant advertising regulations, and the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Registered signatory for the ABPI
  • Previous experience in CNS / Neurology therapeutic areas would be advantageous
