As a Reservations Agent you will be responsible for recording and processing all reservation enquiries made by phone, fax or e-
mail efficiently and accurately, maximising sales and room occupancy rates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Answer all reservation requests in a courteous and efficient manner using the principles of Benefit and Feature selling whilst adhering to all the criteria as laid out in the Marriott Reservation Test Call Format.
Process all transactions of reservations by fax, letter or email where necessary
Handle all reservation requests from other departments in the hotel by crib sheet
Process rooming lists and group blocks within MARSHA and OnQ systems.
File and process reservations correspondence.
Previous hotel front office or reservations experience is preferable
Previous customer service experience is essential with excellent communication skills
Excellent command of English, any other language is an added advantage
