Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust has a reputation of being a small yet innovative Trust, with a culture of using its challenges in remoteness and workforce supply to develop transformational models of care.
We were one of the first Trusts in England to vertically integrate acute and community services, which was followed by the integration with adult social care and domiciliary care.
Many of our services have received national recognition for the quality of care and patient outcomes. It's also a great place to work : we are ranked second of all Trusts in the country for morale and team working.
We are delighted to be a recipient of the Government's Health Infrastructure Plan funding stream, HIP2. This investment will help us to continue transforming integrated health and social care services in Northern Devon through the flexible use of modern estate and by maximising digital technology.
We are seeking a Programme Director to lead on the delivery of this visionary redevelopment project, from developing the Strategic Outline Case through to the completion of our fit-for-purpose facilities at North Devon District Hospital.
This is an ideal role for someone with vision, energy, and extensive senior-level experience of successfully navigating complex environments to deliver large-scale transformation programmes.
You will be politically astute and have excellent influencing and negotiation skills to establish and maintain strong partnering relationships at all levels.
You will also have the confidence to act as a critical friend to challenge the basis of assumptions made to ensure robust plans are being developed at each stage of the programme.
