As a Solution Designer Manager , you will be collaborating on the technology, planning, strategy, direction, and design choices within solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers.

You will capture customer requirements in relation to the production of network designs and work independently to produce design documentations and own the delivery of network designs in relation to network projects.

What you will do

  • You will provide the technical qualification and own the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current, new, or evolving technologies and SITA solution portfolios
  • You will lead and manage the design and development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally, including the selection of 3rd party vendors to meet customer requirements
  • You will promote SITA by liaising with customers and providing comprehensive up-to-date information on current technologies, product enhancements and new solutions
  • You will facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach staff and organize technical training and certification on the products and technologies supporting the ATI
  • Support the account team or competency centres during the pre-contract phases (qualification proposal and contract) with technical designs and advice
  • Participate in the development of technical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum account penetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term
  • Who you are

  • BS level Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Computer Technologies
  • Highly technical senior resource with strong network knowledge and experience in WLAN and LAN technology and designs
  • Relevant Technical certifications with at least 1 at CCNP level or equivalent
  • Good experience in Information Technology Telecom Industry or Air Transport Industry technology
  • Knowledge of both WLAN and LAN technologies with experience producing WLAN and LAN design in a commercial environment
  • Experience capturing customer requirements in relation to the production and documentation of network designs
  • Proven track record in producing communicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions
  • Experience managing technical teams, mentoring, and coaching team members
