We are currently recruiting a Junior level PA to provide full administrative support to the Web of Science group’s senior leadership team.

This is varied and involved role for someone bright, intelligent and hard-working to become a key member of a busy team.

You will be supporting a busy office, reporting to the Transformation Lead. Working alongside the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be expected to provide support to the WOSG leadership team assisting them with a variety of administrative tasks and secretarial support.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and a team player with a proactive approach to workflow. They will be confident in prioritising and juggling multiple tasks at one time whilst remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing diaries for several different Senior team members across multiple time zones; assisting the EA with the CEO diary when required
  • Word processing and IT skills, including a frim knowledge of a range of software packages
  • Excellent telephone skills and the ability to respond positively and effectively to staff;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to get to know people.
  • Managing meeting room bookings; arranging refreshments as required
  • Travel management; both domestic and international
  • Assisting EA with onboarding of new staff members, ordering and monitoring of IT equipment
  • Expense & Invoice processing
  • Project Administration and ad hoc tasks as directed
  • Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies :

    In addition to relevant experience and secretarial and administrative knowledge, you'll need to show evidence of the following :

  • Established organisational skills and confidence to proactively take ownership for action points, using initiative to solve problems and forward plan appropriately
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines; individually or as part of a wider team
  • Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
  • Attention to detail
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 year's of relevant experience is required
