Primary purpose of position
The Vice President, International Flagship Retail Owned Stores will lead the establishment, development, planning, buildout and operation of an exclusive number of bespoke Harry Potter / Wizarding World stores and store-
based omnichannel retail located in leading global cities. These stores will not be located in shopping malls, but in interesting locations befitting the Harry Potter stories and character.
This position will play an active role in refining the creative and commercial vision to deliver a best-in-class experience-
led retail proposition for target customers (fans, superfans, tourists and residents). He / She will be responsible for effectively managing the P&L of the retail stores while developing and executing against the Wizarding World Global Franchise Strategy to achieve the objectives of the franchise (from both a financial and brand-building perspective).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with globally-renowned IP and will play a major part in building on the success of the Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Wizarding World brands, which have captivated fans worldwide.
Essential job functions
Develop a sourcing model which is replicable across markets and builds on existing supplier relationships and capabilities
Develop deep understanding of the core customer across markets with particular focus on both their engagement with retail channels and brand engagement more broadly (books, films, plays).
Analyze competitive product offerings and industry trends to incorporate into the stores
focused retail environments which surprise and delight customers both in terms of product quality and experience which celebrates Harry Potter / Wizarding World
