As the Technical Administrator you will site in the Operations team - part of the Hampshire Highways maintenance team based in Winchester Hampshire.
Reporting to the Planner your main responsibility will be to provide general office, finance and technical administrative support to our Schemes delivery team.
General administration duties including : Contacting supervisors and checking progress on worksUpdating progress on works currently on the groundPreparing letters for upcoming worksCreating folders for works documents to be stored inSupplying stats for works due to start
Other administrative tasks as required
Road space booking, NRSWA enquiries and associated activities
Liaison with Hampshire County Council and other affected stakeholders for proposed works
Support for contract HSEQ teams
All other duties as reasonably required
You must have a working background within administration within an engineering environment, Highways etc. or similar.
Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above or equivalent
Driving licence desirable
Knowledge and Experience
Excellent organisational abilities
Skilled in providing administrative support preferably in a technical environment
Strong IT skills - particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of road space booking procedures and public engagement with NRSWA preferable
