  • An emerging and fast-growth SaaS company in the cloud communications technology industry in London is looking to appoint new headcount to their sales division in the form of an Account Management position.

    This role will be principally be farming based owning relationships with a number of clients, supporting and educating them around products and service offerings, creating demand within those clients by raising the profile of the company’s suite of solutions matched to client specific needs.

    Your role is designed to make a substantial contribution to the growth and success through retaining and growing customer revenues and value.

    Building upon existing relationships and ensuring the service is a valuable asset to those client’s businesses.

    You will be joining an established team, you will have a strategic approach to selling and be able to deliver value to the customer and serve as a trusted advisor.

    The position requires you to have the best interests of the customer in mind and help them to achieve their own business objectives whilst proactively seeking out opportunities for growth through investing in the company’s suite of products and services.

    MAIN DUTIES

  • Proactively grow relationships and value within your customer base, taking ownership of your own commercial target (retention, growth and one off revenue) through the identification of additional opportunities from increasing customer usage, introducing new products and services and penetrating additional departments
  • Work in close partnership with the customer to develop digital marketing as a key part of their business strategy and gather customer objectives to ensure we are helping them to deliver to these objectives
  • Effectively maintain customer relationships and the delivery of projects through effective communication with all other key functions including Marketing Services, Development, Customer Services, Finance and Senior Management
  • Anticipate and resolve problems and issues with customers, particularly being alert to early warning signs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct frequent customer review meetings and prepare robust, high quality presentations and proposals in line with their objectives
  • Work across the business to develop strong working relationships with other departments in order to create the best environment for excellent service delivery
  • Implement appropriate processes to ensure all customer activity is accurately recorded, feature and service requests are managed and information is shared in the most appropriate way within using the tools provided
  • Assume responsibility for the provision of accurate and timely invoicing information
  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • You will be motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image, a sound understanding of technology, a customer centric approach, excellent commercial awareness and proven track record within a business to business account management role.
  • You will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business through your skills and experience.
  • You will have :

  • B2B account management experience, preferably within a technology or business consulting
  • The ability to demonstrate a proven track record in key customer retention, growth and acquisition
  • Proven experience in expanding sales within key accounts, delivering exceptional customer service, understanding customers’ needs, building relationships and positively influencing customers
  • A customer centric approach to addressing customer questions, communicating with customers issues and acting as the customers advocate
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to compromise, seek common ground and stay focused on achieving a positive outcome that benefits the customer
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in person and via the telephone / web with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Target driven with the ability to work to strict deadlines
