The Role

  • You will be expected to accurately survey existing utility installations and produce As Installed’ P&ID and layout drawings of Mechanical Services such as steam & condensate, chilled & cooling water, nitrogen & compressed air and HVAC.
  • You will create, adjust and update existing AutoCAD drawings.
  • You will liaise with the Engineering teams and work closely with Project Managers to understand the key Mechanical principles and how they should be presented on drawings.
  • You will work as part of a diverse team of engineers
  • You will liaise with the Design Engineering team to establish drawing standards.
  • You will be responsible for producing and maintaining a drawing register.
  • You will be responsible for the control of all utility documentation & drawings.
  • ou will assist in the production of O&M manuals for projects.
  • The Person Minimum Requirements

  • You will be fully proficient in 2D AutoCAD, and be able to demonstrate this during an assessment.
  • You will have experience in Mechanical Utilities.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
  • You will be organised and accurate and be able to complete day to day tasks with little supervision.
  • You will have good communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills - particularly M / S Excel.
  • You will be expected to meet targets and deadlines.
  • You will be expected to be flexible to meet the company needs.
  • The Person Desirable

  • Have experience in a mechanical utilities environment.
  • Duration : 1 year fixed term contract, with possibility of extension

    Location : Newry, Co. Down

    Remuneration : Salary depending on experience
