My client, a market leading international Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Birmingham.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Civil Engineering and have experience working using Hydraulic Modelling software including Flood Modeller Pro or Hec-ras or Tuflow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Estimation and Flood Risk Assessments.

As a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team of Engineers and Consultants based in Birmingham.

Candidates will be trained to complete large scale Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling and River Projects Projects for Government Bodies, Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.

  • Candidates will be supported to complete;
  • Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
  • Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.
  • Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build, Verification and Calibration using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
