WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Distribution Quality Coordinator, you'll need to develop strong relationships with regular interaction across the various departments within Jaguar Land Rover and external customers.

You will be a self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative and a passion for excellence in order to provide a premium service.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Promote damage prevention and continuous improvement via lessons learned and the use of best practice
  • Develop departmental reports, KPIs, and process mapping
  • Work with our Suppliers to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvement in KPIs
  • Support development and implement the processes and procedures to ensure vehicles are delivered Right First Time (RFT)
  • Help recover claims from Service Providers where vehicles have been damaged in transit
  • Working closely with Service Providers & internal quality stakeholders to identify and deliver new damage prevention technologies
  • Experience a wide and varied workload, requiring strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Help develop and drive Distribution Quality’s strategic vison through understanding of industry trends and innovations
  • WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Essential :

  • Experience of working in a Supply Chain environment
  • Experience of problem solving techniques and an ability to close issues
  • Experience of process development and process mapping
  • Ability to quickly understand and challenge Logistics processes
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office & Data visualisation tools
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a multi-functional team and to work both strategically and at a detailed level
  • Desirable :

  • Experience of working in Vehicle Logistics, ideally in an OEM environment
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management
  • Experience in analysing big data using tools such as Rapidminer, Tableau, Google Cloud Platform or Business Objects
  • Project Management skills or experience would be advantageous
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Personal Profile

  • You should be able to work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders to resolve issues, embed new processes and drive change
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong customer focus, coupled with a desire to make a difference and the tenacity to achieve results.
  • You will need to be able to communicate and drive change with compelling and persuasive arguments tailored for your audience.
