Reporting to the Consumer Activation Manager UK&I this is a vital, dynamic role within the Consumer Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for successfully implementing the consumer activation plans across all festivals, billboards and other channels available within the UK and Ireland for tobacco (Tob Max) and Next Generation Products (NGP).
The role holder with have specific focus on the experiential and digital activation, monitoring and reporting. They will also support in the delivery of the social media strategy working with Consumer Activation Manager.

Support the development and lead the implementation of marketing, advertising, promotional and social media activities for NGP & Tob Max products in the UK& Ireland across all identified channels.
Monitoring and managing activity on all social media platforms via agency relationships
Create an omni channel activation plan and deliver and organise attendance at relevant events (e.g. festivals, trade fairs) to maximize brand exposure and consumer touch points either via agency, or internally resourced for both NGP and TobMax
Analysing and reporting on activation plans and expenditure as required.
Monitor and benchmark competitor activities, category trends and consumer habits, recommending plans and actions to ensure consumer activation surges ahead of the competition
Identify activation opportunities and propose innovative solutions to solve them
Establish close working relationships with Cluster functions and Division and Fontem to ensure mutually beneficial success of the Cluster.
Agree and monitor appropriate operational KPIs and reporting, proactively taking remedial action to resolve any identified issues or concerns
Social media management aligned to online activations e.g. Valentine’s day activation is managed across all touchpoints (on site banners, email, blog, social, offline guerilla)
Skills & experience
Proven track record of successful delivery of omni-channel activation (inc online).
Full driving licence
Experience in social, media management or digital marketing.
Experience managing third parties and working towards challenging deadlines
Content Creation experience : eg Blog, vlogs, film / photography.
Highly developed organisational and delivery behaviour and attitudes.
Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills in a complex matrix organisation.
Highly commercial and numerate.
Excellent analytical skills.
