Year 6 Teacher
Teaching Personnel have received a vacancy for a Year 6 teacher at a Primary School in Great Harwood. The position is initially to run from January until February half term, depending on the successful applicants situation, there may be an opportunity for this role to continue until the East break (April).
The behaviour and levels of attainment across the school are considered to be good, as are the school’s facilities and Senior Leadership Team.
The role will include teaching a class of 28 pupils with a high percentage of children working towards age related expectations, this percentage is significantly higher for this cohort due to the gaps in learning from the school closures.
The main teaching targets would be to build on prior learning and embed key skills for the core subjects as well preparing the children leading up towards the end of year SATS.
You will need to have good curriculum knowledge and be able to deliver high quality lessons.

The role is to start Monday 4th January 2021, on a full time basis. The school would like to meet suitable candidates by Friday 20th November, with a view to shortlist and interview the week commencing 23rd November 2020.
Rates of pay are competitive starting at GBP95 - GBP135 per day paid into your bank account on a weekly basis.
