    This position within the Global ERC Content organisation is responsible for ensuring that all content is proactively optimized for and tied to the objectives of the CK Student e-suite across all regions, aligned with Segment / Product / Content strategy.

    The CK Student Content Transformation Lead will understand the needs of the platform and its users and articulate those into guidelines for content acquisition, writing and development.

    Projects include, but are not limited to :

  • Supporting content enrichment projects (question levelling in Assessment; remediation with Smart Content team; machine translation - Elsaber Proof of concept;
  • image caption improvement)

  • Supporting the local roll-out of QUAD across Content and Operation teams with clear guidance on roles / responsibilities of both teams
  • Defining video (stand-alone and embedded) creation process from Commissioning to Delivery across regions
  • Facilitating an optimized use of knowledge and networks within the content team
  • Functional and Technical Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of the content transformation process, including metadata, taxonomies and all content enrichment techniques
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate insights and give recommendations to colleagues across functional and global teams
  • Keen interest in technology and understanding how things work
  • Knowledge of key players and content providers across a variety of groups
  • Intercultural interest and ability to deal with people from different backgrounds and with different interests
  • Analytical approach towards decision making, with an ability to understand and balance the requirements of different stakeholders
  • Results-oriented, organized and detailed project management expertise, self-starter
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English speaker / writer
  • Other Requirements

  • BA / BS degree; minimum of 5 years experience in STM publishing or related field in a position with strong digital focus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of being a motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines
  • Presentation / demonstration skills
