As a key member of the Kitchen Department you will lead in a comprehensive management of all aspects of the pastry operation and work towards building a first-class consistent food product delivery of pastry menu development, you will be working closely with the Executive Chef & responsible for developing all juniors within pastry
Job Type : Full Time, permanent position.
Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday within the hours of 7am 10pm.
Location : The London Clinic Administration Building, 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ

Duties & Responsibilities
Report to the senior Sous / Executive sous chef and maintain total responsibility for the day to day running of the pastry kitchen.
Coordinate all daily tasks with the kitchen Team including events & special Patients.
Provide a full handover for each shift in the format chosen and implemented by the senior Sous Chef with no deviation.
Able to estimate the daily production needs to ensure food waste is kept to a minimum always checking daily event lists.
Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage, COSHH, HACCP, and food safety legislation.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years as Pastry Junior Sous or 1 year as Pastry Sous Chef.
Full understanding of UK food production laws & requirements
Minimum Level 3 food hygiene or higher
Previous experience within a Hotel or large scale catering facility.
