We re looking for an experienced leader to come and join the team as our Technical Director for Liverpool Football Club Women s Regional Talent Club (RTC).

The successful candidate will lead and develop the youth talent pathway, produce our technical plans from U10 s to U16 s and develop a CPD model to support the development across our technical teams.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee the youth talent pathway across the RTC (U9-U16)
  • Produce and implement an age specific technical and tactical syllabus for the RTC programme
  • Develop and oversee an Individual Development Programme and ensure that each player within the RTC has an up-to-date Individual Development Plan across the season.
  • Develop a robust recruitment process to ensure a consistent supply of talent into the RTC
  • Develop and implement an appropriate games programme for all age groups across the RTC
  • Work closely with the U21 Head Coach and Assistant First Team Manager to support player transitions from RTC to the Academy and First Team
  • Provide guidance and direction to all staff across the RTC and oversee individual development programmes for each staff member
  • Develop a CPD programme to support and develop all staff across the RTC
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure that staff development, regulatory detail and player education and welfare is best in class and consistent across the RTC
  • Act as a primary point of contact for The FA and attend any external meetings and CPD events as and when required.
  • Build and develop positive relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the RTC and Liverpool FC Women.
  • Ensure the Club adheres to The FA standards and Club Policy for safeguarding children, and that the Club meets all Club Safeguarding policies / procedures
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all players, parents and staff
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests by the Club
  • Who are we looking for?

    To be successful you will need to hold a UEFA A Licence and have strong experience within Women s football and a high-profile youth environment.

    We may consider an exceptional candidate that is a UEFA B licence holder, who is currently working towards their A Licence.

    You will also have an excellent understanding of the education models and welfare provisions important within an elite youth environment

    You'll be a natural leader and have experience on working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to develop others.

    This is a part-time fixed term contracted role working 20 hours per week on a 5 from 7 day basis. This role will be based across all Women s Academy sites so some travel within the Merseyside area will be required.
