The department

Our lawyers have the expertise and experience to advise on all areas of commercial activity, from contracts for the provision of goods and services with the public or private sector, through to complex intellectual property and technology agreements, joint ventures, outsourcing arrangements and agency and distribution issues both in the UK and cross border.


  • Experience of domestic and cross border commercial agreements in a range of sectors
  • Working knowledge / experience of all, and detailed / specialist knowledge / experience of some of : Common regulatory aspects such as competition law and Commercial Agents Regulations Distribution and agency arrangements Outsourcing and supply of services arrangements Supply chain contracts Contractual joint ventures Know-how licencing arrangements IT solutions arrangements
  • Qualifications / Experience

  • A Senior Associate or Legal Director / Partner of 6 years PQE + gained within a strong regional or City firm.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Interest in and aptitude for business development
