As a Barclays Specialist Team Leader you will be joining Client Servicing team within Channel Servicing Business area. You will be instrumental in implementing the highest valued Larger Corporate clients with the utilisation of electronic banking and cash management products.

Manage and participate in the day to day operational activities across the team in order to effectively distribute workloads and achieve demanding service levels.

What will you be doing?

  • Being responsible for resolving issues, grievances and conflicts, should they arise within the team
  • Assisting development of team members training plans to ensure training, coaching and development of the team members have skills and knowledge to carry out their roles
  • Ensuring all aspects of governance are adopted both personally and by team members.
  • Driving a high level service offering for valuable Barclays Corporate clients
  • Controlling a team workflow regularly monitoring current work position in order to meet demanding targets, deadlines and SLA’s
  • Delivering competition beating support to win business for the Corporate Bank through a differentiated service model
  • Reducing calls through resolution of causes and implementation of best practices
  • Managing channel incidents ensuring team and clients are updated through to resolution
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Ability to operate effectively as a leader of frontline colleagues, with a good understanding of the fundamentals required to shape and drive performance
  • Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to manage and deliver expectations, and challenge outcomes and approaches where necessary
  • Ability to build quality relationships in a non-face to face environment, whilst being mindful of cultural differences
  • Skills that will help you in the role :

  • Experience of coaching colleagues in a range of roles in a way that enables them to develop performance and capability and able to demonstrate improvement
  • Strong organisational, planning skills, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proactive focus towards optimising the business through identifying client needs
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and progress
  • Where will you be working?

    You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.

    The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.

    We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
