Are you an

enthusiastic Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with significant community and management experience?

We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional to play a key role in the leadership and ongoing development of our day hospice.

As an experienced practitioner you'll create an environment of continuous quality improvement. Not only will you develop clinical practice and regularly review standards against the CQC agenda, you'll lead our teams and manage referral pathways whilst ensuring the provision of service is efficient and responsive.

About Us :

Leckhampton Court is a Sue Ryder hospice, based in Gloucestershire. We’re here for people aged 18 and over living with conditions like cancer, heart failure and lung disease.

It provides the only specialist hospice care inpatient unit in the county of Gloucestershire. We offer a range of support, from inpatient care in our 16-

bed hospice, set in the foot of the Cotswold Hills and surrounded by beautiful countryside, to Day services and Hospice at Home which helps people stay at home longer.

Our specialist teams give the care and support needed to ease physical and emotional pain at what can be a very frightening time, whether at home or in our hospice.

Our focus is on quality of life giving every person the opportunity to spend the time they have left in the way they choose.

About You :

Our ideal Clinical Lead will be passionate about delivering outstanding care for patients and their families, will be forward thinking, dynamic, flexible and hardworking and will enjoy working closely within our team here at Leckhampton Court Hospice and our other stakeholders across the Sue Ryder network.

You'll also need :

  • To be a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist at Band 7 or above with experience in the field of palliative care
  • Excellent clinical leadership and management skills / experience
  • Experience of service development and change management
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or working towards one
  • A post graduate palliative care qualification is desirable
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
