About Us

Applications are invited for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Clinical Effectiveness & Patient Experience Unit as Senior Administration Support Officer.

Working within an established team, the successful candidate will be expected to help deliver the administrative support for the Unit and to support the co-ordination of National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance implementation.

Who we looking for

You must be educated to GCSE level, possess / be working towards NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have recent and relevant experience of working in administration in a healthcare setting.

The post requires someone with excellent communication, personal organisation and computer literacy skills. The ability to work on one’s own initiative and to prioritise the workload is essential.

Successful candidates will also require the ability to liaise with people at all levels, including senior clinicians.

Please also note this post will include both office and working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 8 months months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder.

The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.
