IT Support engineer - 1st line
Do you have an understanding of IT and good communication and people skills ? This is an entry level opportunity to join a global aviation organisation as a first line support engineer in their IT support team at Farnborough Airport.
Acting as the first point of contact within the IT department, you will look to resolve any technical issues or answer any queries, escalating this towards second and third line engineers when necessary.
Additional duties of the First Line Engineer include, but aren't limited to :
Setting up, amending and removing user accounts.
Maintaining the software user guide and knowledge base.
Carrying out any software upgrades and installations.
Amending the client reports.
Updating and maintaining call logging system data and the configuration management database.
It is essential to have impressive IT skills, specifically with Windows Systems and Microsoft Office Products. Furthermore, you should be confident to converse with customers, alongside great communication and problem-
solving skills. Any previous experience within a technical helpdesk environment would prove to be beneficial.
