ROLE MISSION :

To provide support to the domain lead through the effective management of all projects within the survey workflow and normative systems domain.

To be aware of and participate in the strategic decisions made by both business and technology within this domain. To engage business stakeholders in the discussions around new opportunities.

To assist in communicating the strategic direction of the domain to all stakeholders.

KEY OUTCOMES : Domain Leadership

Domain Leadership

  • Provide project guidance (from a domain perspective) to help prioritize and guide developments within the domain.
  • Mentor, coach, motivate and build a positive culture among the team working on domain projects
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing model is in place, identify shortfalls and skills gaps in good time. Work with appropriate functional needs to ensure resources are in place.
  • Ensure all domain project priorities remain in line with business needs and the strategy and ensure delivery of those projects
  • Communication

  • Communicate with stakeholders, the program purpose and benefits, and the services that will be delivered as a result of the program
  • Ensure efficient communication between teams working within a project or program
  • Marketing - to assist domain lead in publishing success of activities within the domain
  • Project Management & Delivery

  • Working with individual project and program managers to consolidate project plans (scheduling, cost inclusion, etc.) across the domain
  • Maintaining a domain level risk log as well as actively pursuing solutions to the risks and issues on the list
  • Assist domain lead in determining the appropriate blend of onshore and offshore resource
  • Ensure delivery excellence by suppliers by taking appropriate actions across the domain to manage the relationship effectively
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Assist domain lead in key stakeholder conversations re ideas, strategies and needs that they may have.
  • CAPABILITIES :

    Solid experience in either Project Management, Business Analysis or Software Team leadership.

    Demonstrable people management skills.

    Demonstrable stakeholder management skills.

    Demonstrable financial budgeting skills.

    Ability to influence others outside your direct team.

    Ability to communicate with different seniority levels with clarity and authority

    Excellent interpersonal, relation management & influencing skills

    Demonstrable experience in delivering client or consumer facing software solutions blending both own developments and partnership solutions

    Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

    Progressive thinking with future focused mindset while balancing current state
