Applicants for Senior Solicitor, Commercial roles will be expected to be capable of delivering excellence in relation to project management, client relationship management, quality processes, pricing (including billing, where required) and technology relating to our commercial and IT contracts capability.
Candidates are likely to have developed as a specialist in contract review and negotiation, having trained and gained extensive experience in private practice, but with in-
house experience also being desirable. Experience in the technology, IT services, telecommunications and / or media sector is also particularly desirable.
You will be comfortable applying what you know to creative and varied projects. This role requires an entrepreneurial mind-
set and a flexible and responsive approach. You will scope and set-up new matters and conduct fee earning work directly as well as supervising the team.
You are also likely to be asked to assist in preparing pitch documents and attend client presentations.
You will have a deeply client-focused approach and be ready to apply that experience to our transactional practice where we work closely with internal clients (i.
e. you will be confident and comfortable liaising with partners around the organisation) and you will often work directly with our external clients including from their offices from time to time.
