Why this role matters

The role holder will design and implement employee benefits solutions and policies to ensure that transformation and change is fit for purpose both on an employee level and that it mitigates risks for BT and employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Design governance processes and systems to deliver benefit & policy reviews including alignment of policies across BT
  • Project manage benefits & policy reviews and other policy related projects
  • Conduct benchmarking to bring external insights into Reward COE
  • Provide analytics including costing's in support of benefits / policy programme design
  • Optimise relationships with key stakeholders within Reward, HR COEs, HRS as well as other functions such as Finance, Technology and external vendors
  • Manage and develop a team of Reward Specialists and Reward Analysts
  • We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Technical Expertise : requires knowledge of reward principles, practices and legislation
  • Project management : requires strong organisational skills to manage projects to time and within budget, prioritise use of resources to meet deadline
  • Stakeholder management : requires skills to lobby input and keep stakeholders informed on policy and process
  • Team leadership : requires skills to manage a team, including development of future reward professionals. Excellent communications skills both verbal and written to ensure benefits / policy / procedure documents and communications to stakeholders and employees are clear and simple
  • HR System : Needs knowledge of HR systems and processes and benchmarking / analytical approaches
