Responsible for profitable new and renewal business to meet Cyber targets regionally including global elements

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
  • Specialized technical expertise / lead for at least sub line of business
  • Profitable Business

  • Manage large Cyber new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets (regionally including global elements).
  • Actively pursuing business opportunities based on claims data and international market knowledge
  • Gathering and interpreting insurance claims data to create a compelling sales proposition
  • Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers. Proactively manage capacity.
  • Specialized technical expertise / lead for at least one sub line of business
  • Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. risk managers)
  • Positively represent AGCS externally to the market with key brokers / distribution channels
  • Proactively drive involvement of functional areas, including e.g. Market Management, Risk Consulting, Claims, Operations
  • Market Management

  • Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business for large clients (including client and broker negotiations where necessary)
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to establish credibility and advance the position of AGCS as a key Cyber insurance provider in the marketplace
  • Addresses seminars, conferences and media to present results of Cyber research activity
  • Proactively liaise on market management initiatives
  • Policy Documentation and Administration

  • Ensure accurate Cyber policy documentation issued to broker (where AGCS responsibility to do so) or broker has issued documentation (where broker responsibility)
  • File maintenance ensure file is established (whether electronic or paper) and maintained and transaction handled
  • Proactively support completion of policy administration and credit control processes
  • Compliance

  • Manage tasks with the Cyber governance framework - e.g. Authorities, global MSU, Guidelines, Rules and Principles
  • Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception
  • Ensure utilization of global pricing tools
  • Ensure placing and binding of FAC Reinsurance prior to policy inception
  • Strategy & Leadership

  • Contribute to development and execution of regional strategy for Cyber regionally
  • Training, developing and coaching of less experienced employees
  • Focusing on marketing and underwriting measures to increase the sale of Cyber insurance products
  • Manage complex referrals and complex business as appropriate
  • Identifies problems concerned with business strategy, policy, organization, procedures, methods and markets
  • Delegate work as appropriate

    Significant experience in profitable business in Cyber. Specialized expert understanding of multiple sub-LoB products and portfolio

  • Recognized relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within market
  • Specialized understanding of regional / local Cyber insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global elements
  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework
  • Experience working in complex, global matrix organization
  • Ability to assess risk inherent exposures & natural hazards relevant to Cyber
  • Analyze current performance against benchmarks applying how the market operates & functions, the business needs & customer needs
  • Design, develop & implement consistent, robust wordings in contracts
  • Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation
  • Location : London

    Ability to work flexible hours that are sometimes outside of normal business hours

    Regular international business travel will be required

    Salary range : 85,000 GBP 115,000 GBP
