Position overview :

We are looking for a creative and multi-skilledMarketing Executive who has a strong interest in design, marketing, and social media.

Equally comfortable and skilled with visual design as you are copywriting, you will be working collaboratively but ultimately responsible for designing brand-consistent marketing material, social media, and email marketing.

You will report to the Marketing Manager in the UK and will have responsibility for creating marketing assetsfor the UK and Europe.

Key objectives and responsibilities :

Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams, to create and develop ideas for enhancing the Optimas brand

Design and develop marketing material including brochures, flyers, and digital assets

Write engaging copy for whitepapers, blogs, and external customer-facing comms

Work with the marketing manager in the creation and delivery of marketing assets in support of vertical campaigns as identified by the wider team

Creation of engaging communications including e-shots, social media posts and Direct Mail campaigns

Create regular, engaging product / service / recruitment posts and content for the sales function to share with networks

Support events and conferences / seminars by delivering all relevant marketing / promotional materials

Ensure projects are kept up to date with latest design files / artwork and follow agreed processes

Support and delivery of ad-hoc internal comms, including some video editing, as dictated by business requirements

Use the company CRM system to learn and understand best-practice customer communication

Monitoring of industry trends to identify curated marketing opportunities

Action and report on set KPIs as outlined by the marketing manager

Skills and qualifications required :

Degree qualified, or equivalent in Graphic Design aswell as proven experience working within a Graphic Design and / or Marketing role

A real passion and interest in great design and creativity

High level of written English and grammar

You will be commercially minded, able to plan your time effectively to meet deadlines as well as produce work to a consistently high creative standard when required

You will love social media and have experience in taking ownership of social channels

Ability to work quickly and determine how to manage different priorities

A strong proactive attitude and the confidence to take ownership of projects

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with business stakeholders and external vendors

Fluent in the Adobe CC Suite in a Windows environment (Essential)

Fluent in the Microsoft Office 2010 Suite for PC, including PowerPoint presentations (Essential)

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high attention to detail.

Video editing experience desirable
