An exciting 18 month secondment opportunity has arisen to join the HMR Division of Integrated Care based at Rochdale Infirmary as a Medical Absence Coordinator.
You will provide a medical staffing service to the division. This will include a broad range of activities including the coordination of medical rotas.
Ensuring liaison with various stakeholders NHSP, Agencies to ensure that rota gaps are covered in a timely manner. Processing annual leave and study leave requests using monitoring systems.
You will work closely with the Divisional Management Team to maximise efficiency.
In addition to supporting the coordinator of rotas, you will be involved in monitoring of exception reporting, and providing analysis and feedback on a variety of medical staffing issues.
You will also play a key role in the planning of the junior doctor changeover.
This is a busy role and would ideally suit somebody with an a administration background. Excellent IT Skills are a must.
To be successful you will need to be able to adapt and prioritise a busy workload effectively and be able to build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders.
