London Marriott Kensington has an exciting opportunity for a Conference & Banqueting Host to join the team.

In this role you will work in our Conference, Events & Banqueting operations department, anticipating our guest's needs and providing exceptional service to enhance their stay.

We are looking for passionate, self-starters who want an exciting challenge.

In this role you will be interacting with all departments in the hotel, from Guest Relations, to Housekeeping, to the Kitchen and more! You are full of energy and a naturally outgoing person.

Communication for you is key and you thrive on interaction with others. In this role you are empowered to own your guest, wow them and share your energy.

The impact you’ll make

You know the finest details of our menu and can’t wait to share your expertise with our guests. When they dine with us, your warm greeting, flawless table settings, and your friendly demeanor do not go unnoticed.

No matter the day, you set out to provide each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after their stay.

What we’re looking for

  • Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Previous serving experience is a big plus
  • Someone who thrives leading a team in a dynamic luxury / lifestyle environment
  • The ability to multi-task and think on your feet
  • A passion for hosting exciting and memorable events
  • Strong communication skills with both team members and guests
  • A keen eye for detail
  • This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.

    Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
