Role Profile :

Reporting to the Direct Labour Operations Manager you will be tasked to work on on the poling network replacement and installation programme for our Client Openreach.

The focus of the work will be to Survey existing network configuration of infrastructure to assess and determine optimal engineering solution for network upgrades / installations to Openreach engineering specification and standards.

Typical Deliverables :

  • Planning job execute requirements inc. work requirements, site conditions, access requirements, traffic management requirements
  • Taking measurements, digital images as appropriate, recording plant suitability and identifying risks
  • Managing DFE’s with Openreach to ensure correct synthetic build up on jobs
  • Liaison with any local authority agents and any other third parties as required
  • Owning, executing and delivering survey requirements within a geographic region.
  • Liaising with Poling teams & coordinating outputs from those teams
  • Highlight and escalate major variances to the nominated project lead
  • Ensure Validity & Accuracy of completed survey submissions and work is completed on time and to the plan
  • Business Operations Skills Experience :

  • Demonstrable understanding of the Openreach external network, in particular poling
  • External site survey experience
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Business Operations Skills Qualifications :

  • NRSWA Unit 2
  • Driving Licence
  • You’ll receive formal training. and on-the-job training where appropriate to ensure you’re up-skilled as technology develops along with E-learning schemes to help or refresh skills on-line
