Corecom Consulting have been given the responsibility of sourcing a Desk Side Support Engineer on behalf of a key client of ours who are a global IT Company with over 7000 clients.

As a Desk Side Support Engineer you’ll be based in their Bromley office, joining a team who thrive on providing the best possible customer service they can.

  • What we need from you

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great understanding and awareness of technology
  • Proven experience of making key decisions to offer solutions to IT problems
  • Working knowledge of Windows packages from 7 onwards including Office 365
  • Ideally some level of experience working on / with Windows Server
  • Demonstratable examples of solving IT issues
  • Previous experience using Mobile Device Management applications
  • Prior experience working in a similar role for Managed Service Providers
  • Top customer service skills
  • The client are looking to set themselves up for a big 2020 and as a result they are seeing an increase in workload, which is why your time management and prioritisation skills have got to be on point, as you will be dealing with an increasing number of important customers who you will need to be able to handle efficiently and assess the severity of their issues.

    You will also be speaking with Directors & Heads of Business within the company who will come to you when they need technical advice, which is why your knowledge and understanding of the hardware / software you use and provide will need to be exceptional.

    The successful Desk Side Support Engineer can expect to earn up to £30,000 with genuine career prospects of rising through the ranks.
