Position Overview

You’ll be joining the Global Products and Solutions (GPS) team resides within Deutsche Bank Wealth Management (WM), part of the Private and Commercial Business.

Within GPS Birmingham every area within WM is represented, and the area is growing. The teams support colleagues in every WM Centre globally on a daily basis.

GPS is a WM product hub, managing products through the lifecycle of Idea Generation, Sourcing and Selection, Coverage and Analysis and Post Sales activities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Taking ownership and management of the Product Database (PDB) system, the single source of WM product holdings information globally
  • Recurring data quality checks to classify WM product holdings as per methodology set out in a global asset classification schema
  • Analysing WM product holdings to highlight WM breakdowns and exposures or, for certain products, to identify scope for improved product revenues through analysis of their associated commercial terms
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders within the wider WM business, as end-users of PDB, and Global Technology in the maintenance of the system
  • Shaping of future tools and projects that are intended to streamline current processes within PDB
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for User Acceptance Testing for any changes required in the system
  • Maintaining all WM product distribution agreements globally, in a central repository
  • Maintaining all of associated commercial terms, for certain products, in PDB
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Proven ability to transform complex data into meaningful information for a variety of audiences
  • Well motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player, able to work with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Product knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Self-starter with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
