com Audit function. Based in the United Kingdom, the role will position you to work closely with the Internal Audit team in Singapore to perform moderately complex audit assignments.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, experienced audit individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and one who is able to demonstrate the ability to effectively plan for, and conduct, audit in a fast-paced environment.

Internal Audit represents the third line of defense and provides independent assurance of the effectiveness of management's control of business activities (the first line) and of the control processes maintained by the Risk Framework Owners and Policy Owners (the second line).

Internal Audit is an independent function whose primary role is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assessing the risks and controls relating to the business. Working with the audit team on drafting quality audit reports, discussing audit findings with partners, monitor corrective actions' implementation, and be a great teammate to ensure overall effectiveness of the team.
  • Have ownership for the planning and performing the annual audit strategy in accordance with methodologies and professional standards
  • Execute audit work across the IA portfolio and take ownership of the delivery of high-quality audits, including scoping the audit, controls assessment activities, finalising of audit issues and the audit report.
  • To take responsibility for the design and implementation of department wide exercises such as annual planning, risk assessment and training.
  • Update the relevant assigned risk assessments as part of the Continuous Risk Assessment on a regular basis so that changes in risk profiles are identified in a timely manner, proposing changes to the assigned audit plan as appropriate.
  • Keep up to date with business developments, regulatory change, internal policies, and audit objectives so that audit work remains relevant, timely and valuable.

    About You

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in technology audit / assurance, ideally with a complimenting university degree
  • Professional certification such as CISA (preferable), CRISC or CISSP will be considered an advantage
  • Proven experience in auditing technology processes including information and cybersecurity, cloud and SaaS systems, Data protection / privacy (e.
  • g. GDPR), DevOps, networking, Identity and access management and resilience and disaster recovery planning is preferable.

    Technology framework (i.e. COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity and ITIL) experience is also desirable.

  • Good commercial competence with some level of business exposure and experience working with and influencing senior managers.
  • Analytical, risk focused and ideally capable of using data analytics to gain insights into transactions, clients, and products.
  • Reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues.
  • Passionate about keeping yourself up to date on evolving security risks and trends (e.g. Cyber, Cloud, Data, Operational Resilience, Third Parties, etc.
  • with a keen interest in emerging technologies.
