Manager, Traveler Health & Safety
The Health & Safety team at Expedia Group is looking for an innovative and analytical team leader in our Audit Team in our Trust, Health & Safety organization.
We are looking for a passionate leader with outstanding drive for results, sense of planning and prioritization, relationship leadership skills and someone who will use their creativity skills to optimize and challenge operational processes.
You'll also be a leader with great interpersonal skills, who is passionate about the development and growth for your team.
The role combines two main components, leading and optimizing team operations, this includes vendor relationships to ensure key deliverables relating to the Expedia Group Audit program are met, and project management of Expedia Group wide initiatives to maintain and increase revenue opportunities using Health & Safety processes.
What you’ll do :
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a Global operational team
Experience managing vendor budgets and relationships to delivery on results, manage forecasts, and lead on the Audit program and other proactive safety management components of the Health and Safety procedures
Build and update scalable solutions to deliver to case deliverables, including crowdsourcing and outsourcing
Project Management of integration of new EG partnerships requiring Health & Safety support, whilst acting as an advocate for the Health & Safety team across the EG organization
Represent Team in key H&S initiatives, build and maintain network of internal partners
Establish and maintain critical metrics and value reporting across all projects and outputs, validating all programs to ensure they meet requirements
Collaborate closely to guide strategy and planning with partners, and drive optimization of existing audit processes
Represent EG in discussions with external Travel Safety forums and keep informed of industry and competitor approaches to Travel Health & Safety
Who you are :
At least 4 years of experience within Health & Safety or Customer Experience is desired, within the travel industry is a big plus
Relationship and vendor management or vendor delivery management experience and a high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing data to influence change
A project management background or similar experience is desired, within a travel-related industry is an advantage
Outstanding technical knowledge, using analytical and problem-solving abilities; including but not limited to : excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau
Ability to communicate effectively on all levels, including concise verbal and written executive communication
Organizational instincts, adept at prioritization; and the ability to recognize and keep a track of all the moving pieces in projects, adjusting to new information and goals
At least 4+ years of experience in leading and managing people, demonstrating outstanding influencing skills, including experience working within a large organization
University degree in related field, or equivalent related professional experience
Additional languages and Safety certifications are a plus (e.g. IOSH, gas safety, fire safety)
