What you'll be doing

The Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist is responsible for :

  • Directly interfacing with client’s to successfully implement licensing solutions that result in high customer satisfaction while maximizing customer revenue contribution across Microsoft product, Online and service offerings.
  • Minimize risk to Microsoft by making business and legal decisions within field sales empowerment guidelines that maximize the value of the agreement and the relationship to the client and to Microsoft.
  • Development of new business plan.
  • Key accountabilities include sales quota responsibility for platform volume licensing business (on-premise and cloud) and Microsoft new business.
  • Selling Enterprise Agreements and recommending alternatives where appropriate.
  • Maximizing contract revenues : exploit up sell opportunities, and deliver appropriately flexible solutions.
  • Able to successfully engage the support and assistance of the local Sales management to drive appropriate business practice and consistency.
  • Work primarily with customers and Microsoft to close new business within field empowerment guidelines with a focus on shortening licensing sales cycles and improving customer satisfaction in Portugal and Europe.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products and Technologies and others manufacturers
  • We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Previous customer facing experience in a software licensing sales role.
  • Microsoft Volume Licence sales experience essential
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft product licensing and agreements - particularly Enterprise Agreements, Select Plus / MPSA and Open Value
  • Understanding of Office 365 and associated licensing
  • Microsoft MCP qualified desirable (Licensing Large Orgs / Small Orgs / SAM)
