FINTEC recruit is seeking an Assistant Accountant for our engineering client in Inverness. This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday 37.

5 hours per week. Salary - £24,000 range, negotiable depending on experience. Working as part of a small Accounts team supporting the business in achieving their ambitious growth strategy.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintaining purchase ledger and Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Processing supplier payments and processing sales invoices and statements
  • Debtor control
  • Maintaining Company expenses system.
  • Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Skills and Experience required for the Assistant Accountant role :

  • Previous purchase ledger experience ideally in a SAGE system.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team with a flexible approach to meeting required targets and deadlines
