Salary range : £19,945 - £22,627 pro-rata, per annum

Work location : Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue HQ, Kidlington

Working hours : 456 per annum, with specific hours worked as required by the service and agreed with line manager

Contract type : Permanent - Annualised Hours

Closing Date : Midnight on Monday 24th January 2022

Interview Date : Wednesday 2nd February 2022

Vetting requirements : This role is subject to a Criminal Records Check.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Cycle Examiners to deliver National Standard Cycle Training and Road Safety Education in schools throughout Oxfordshire.

About you

To be successful in the role, you need to be a regular and competent cyclist with knowledge of National Standards 1 and 2 Cycle Training along with Bikeability National Standard Levels 1, 2 and 3.

You’ll have no problem communicating with our young children as well as adult volunteers, ensuring instructions and skills are understood, forming good working relationships with all.
