    Your Dream Role

  • An exciting opportunity to lead our UK Operations division within our successful Aftermarket business.
  • Lead and execute the UK Aftermarket Operations strategy to ensure Alexander Dennis remains the number one parts supplier for our customers in the UK and internationally.
  • Develop and lead the SHEQ, Export, Warehouse and Field Operations Management teams, ensuring a high level of performance to support the delivery of the Aftermarket Sales plan.
  • Become a key member of the Alexander Dennis and Group Aftermarket leadership teams, responsible for delivering on our strategic imperatives.
  • Assume general management responsibility for our Skelmersdale site including security, infrastructure, maintenance, and utilities.
  • Responsible for the Aftermarket Quality Management System and Quality Procedure Manual, ensuring all requirements satisfy ISO : certification.
  • Lead by example ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is cultivated to seek out waste in all its forms and promote efficiency across your teams.

  • About You

  • Extensive senior management experience within a busy and complex operations or warehouse / distribution network.
  • The ability to inspire, coach, and lead direct management reports to maximise their full potential is absolutely key to this position.
  • First class communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to lead by example. Set and assume acceptable workplace behavioural standards for all operations team members.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest data and articulate, as necessary.
  • Driven, curious, and passionate about delivering the highest quality of work at all times.
  • Things can be hectic here so you will have the ability to work unsupervised, often to tight deadlines.
  • Generally, someone who is approachable, with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
  • Qualifications

  • Degree / HND / HNC level or equivalent experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma trained with MCILT or IOM membership all desirable.
