Studio Manager at an award-winning, design-led practice. They are looking for a motivated and highly organised studio manager to support the management team.
You will have responsibility for the day to day management of the admin team and oversee the full support team. In addition, you will ensure all office insurances are kept up to date as well as being a key point of contact dealing with a wide range of people such as employees, clients and external suppliers.
Responsibility for the HR function will be a main focus of the role, including advising on policy and best practice. You will also manage the annual reviews, implementing and managing a mentoring scheme.
In addition, you will oversee the recruitment of the architectural staff and participate in the recruitment of all admin staff.
You will also organise all in-house and external events as well as oversee the facilities management, liaising with the landlord and building manager.
Software and Knowledge
You will have at least five years’ experience in an architectural, design or construction environment. As you will be communicating both internally and externally you will need to have excellent communication skills.
You will possess a resourceful nature and efficient way of working. Additionally, you will have a proactive attitude to anticipate requirements and ensure deadlines are always met and goals fulfilled.
Strong MS Office skills are required and ideally, some knowledge of InDesign will be useful.
