An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen within Tayside Children’s Hospital for a Charge nurse to support our paediatric service 24 / 7, thus ensuring consistent leadership across our services.
The post is available in our Surgical day case ward.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paediatric nurse to develop and enhance leadership and management skills in a supportive environment.
The post holder will co-ordinate and lead a team of staff ensuring care delivery is of the highest standard to our children and their families in partnership with all members of the multi disciplinary team.
Whilst this post is for our neurology team, experience in this field is desirable but not essential. We are seeking an individual with leadership skills to promote best practice and person-centred cultures within the paediatric-nursing speciality, to develop and maintain safe-working environments utilising advanced communication, leadership and management skills.
We invite RSCN / Registered Nurse Child applicants with extensive experience in an acute setting, demonstrating excellent team working skills with ability to work using own initiative.
You will demonstrate a confidant, flexible approach with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
