A client facing Project Manager is required to work within a UK Financial Services team in the full life cycle of a project or programme.


Experience of CRM change / implementation projects, ideally Siebel

The Job

The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the strong and growing Financial Services Solutions Delivery team, understanding our core business and working with our clients through an understanding of their key drivers to implement solutions that address their key business requirements, are a fit to the client Portfolio and offer tangible benefit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in the development of new services business opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth.
  • You will help to understand the customer's current environment and how our client's financial offerings would fit into that, identifying areas of potential benefit and areas of potential conflict.
  • You will lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions as part of the overall UK FS proposition set and will provide input to final proposal and pricing.
  • Solutions are delivered in both written and verbal format so an ability to present technical solutions clearly will be important.

  • Supports the bid process including design reviews, bid reviews, portfolio component selection, development case definition and system integration approach.
  • Supporting the Implementation team through the build and integration
  • Maintains knowledge of technologies, industry trends, standards and design techniques.
  • Assign and review tasks, mentor junior team members, manage performance feedback, and assist with the creation of development plans
  • Provides input on implementation status and changes to risks, estimates or schedule
  • Manages large or multiple projects through the full project lifecycle demonstrating leadership and creativity.
  • Commercial - pricing development, SLA's and contract negotiations
  • Working with third party providers and contracts.
  • Manages key stakeholders showing a high level of understanding of the final solution, issues and risks.
  • Develops and manages the project plans and schedules.
  • Defines project objectives and priorities.
  • Manages project resource requirements and drive strong team performance to meet client requirements.
  • Provides input on implementation status and changes to issues, risks, estimates or schedule
  • Collaborates with Client Management teams to efficiently resolve issues, improve design quality and share high quality information
  • Key Skills

  • Previous experience as a Senior Project / Programme Manager in a client-facing capacity (e.g. having worked for a software vendor, software consultancy or solution provider)
  • Experience of working in Financial Services either having worked as a technology / software supplier or for a financial services firm
  • Bid Management experience including production of cost models.
  • Delivery of client solutions across Applications, Infrastructure and Cloud, Systems Integration and implementation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams.
  • Familiar with project management concepts including project scheduling, risk management, estimation, Work Breakdown Structures, requirements management / traceability, Change Management, etc.
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince II)
  • Industry knowledge of the CRM domain would be beneficial
  • Significant integration experience
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
