About the role

Our client is an inspiring woman in her early 50s that suffered an acquired brain injury approx. 10 years ago. Our client is living in Thornton Heath with her extended family following many years in a residential setting.

As a result of her injury, she is unable to mobilise independently and requires the use of a motorized wheelchair for mobility.

She can display challenging behaviour, have slurred speech when she is tired and has cognitive impairment including difficulty with attention, concentration and memory.

She also has a weakness on the left side of her body and is unable to use her left limb in functional tasks. Our client has an excellent therapy team and guidelines are in place to support our client's rehabilitation.

Our client enjoys going to the theatre, music concerts and having fun.
